Ayurveda based treatment has been known to villagers for ages, represents the traditional form of Indian medicine, and has been part of India’s socio-cultural heritage. With the onslaught of the Allopathy system of medicine, even villagers have lost connection with simple plant remedies that are available in their surroundings. Therefore, Ekalavya Grameena Vikas Foundation has decided to establish Herbal Park with Ayush Ministry.
To ensure the availability of certified and quality medicinal plants and raw materials required for the production of Ayurveda medicines it was decided to collaborate with Ayush Ministry to establish one ‘Herbal park’.
